Founded in 1993, as a joint venture between Delta Corp of Zimbabwe and Nampak Ltd South Africa, Mega Pak is now Zimbabwe's leading manufacturer of a diverse range of plastic packaging products. Mega Pak offers technologies including injection moulding, stretch blow moulding, blow moulding and rotational moulding technologies, providing an extensive product offering including crates, drums, tanks, bottles and closures. Their commitment to producing world class quality products and to continuous improvement has resulted in their ability to supply numerous leading brands in Zimbabwe, as well as to export to other SADC and COMESA countries. Nampak's Mega Pak and Petpak divisions in South Africa, ensuring they remain at the forefront of the technologies they specialise in, also back them. Mega Pak Zimbabwe was proud to receive an Out-of-Africa award in the 2003 South African Gold Pack Awards for their 300ml printed Coca Cola crate. Among its innovative features are full-depth windows on the crate sides to allow for strong branding and merchandising.

Starting from a small trading company that planted its roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1976, the Zenufa Group of Companies has grown over the years into a dynamic medium-sized conglomerate with business activities spanning through Africa, India and Canada. Zenufa focuses on promoting quality products through creating brand strength, by enhancing visibility and brand loyalty, the Group established its state-of-the-art personal care manufacturing company in 1997, Tridea Cosmetics Limited.    Situated in the heart of Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, the Company manufactures several brands whose unquestioned superior quality is recognized and appreciated throughout the region. In 2004, the Company expanded its operations in to Polymer Packaging, in a backward integration model which has proven to be a prominent industrial packaging unit providing packaging solutions to several renowned industries in Tanzania.    In 2003, the Group ventured into the manufacturing of Foods and Beverages within the Democratic Republic of Congo. Located in the heart of the capital city Kinshasa, African Foods & Beverages (AFB), has become one of Congo's largest local food and beverage manufacturer's, boasting a range of beverages from bottled water to both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. In 2006 the AFB operations expanded further with the commissioning of its ready packed snacks facility.    With its eyes set on western markets, Zenufa established MG arsenal, a metal roofing company based in Toronto, Canada. In its third year of operations MG arsenal has grown leaps and bounds and is now looking towards opening operations in the USA. African Cotton has been in the manufacturing, supply and distribution of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) space in East Africa for over 50 years and is the leading manufacturer of cotton wool in East and Central Africa. Formed in 1954, the company has grown into an organisation with operations in Nairobi and Mombasa, running several manufacturing and production lines, and employing over 400 staff across East Africa. Our range of quality products is extensive, covering cotton wool, ear buds, feminine towels, toilet paper and tissue products – and we have been the supplier of choice in the region for medical products such as gauze, surgical dressings and gloves (examination and surgical). Our clients range from large retail chains to Governments and International NGOs, making brands such as Dove®, Tena® and Flora® household names across markets including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and the Congo. African Cotton has in recent years seen significant growth, growing steadily at over 20% per annum during the past 5 years. Our investments of over KES 200m (USD 2.5m) into the region over the past decade have echoed the drive to grow as a local and regional player. This began in 2002 with the implementation of a toilet paper converting plant, in 2005 with a modern European state-of-the-art sanitary towel wings manufacturing plant - the only such facility in Kenya, a napkin converting & secondary toilet paper converting facility in 2008, and the recent acquisition in 2009 of a new 5-acre operations facility in Nairobi. The firm has ambitious growth targets in the short-medium term, and with the backing of a strong team and region that has seen extensive growth in recent times, will be looking to surpass these expectations in the new decade – building Kenya through investments and employment.

By March 2008, the company had made substantive investment including the installation of a modern plant and also increased the number of employees to 150.    Statpack achieved the ISO 9001:2000 Certification in November 2008. The certification equips the company with skills to inform the process. The certification has since been upgraded to 9001:2008 from the year 2010.
