Linkserve-Broadband Vsat Satellite is the latest high-speed Internet  solution powered by Linkserve-Broadband Vsat Inc. and marketed exclusively in West Africa by Linkserve Limited, 'Nigeria’s Premier Internet Solutions Provider.'VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK (VPN)VPN enables organizations to immediately improve their effectiveness and competitiveness while simultaneously reducing their operating costs. As such, VPN represents a significant opportunity for enterprises that wish to profit from exploiting extremely cost effective networking options. In many cases, the use of a VPN will allow the removal of expensive leased physical connections to remote offices.VPN is typically IP-based networks that use encryption and tunnelling to achieve one or more of the following goals:    * Connect users securely over their own corporate network (remote access)    * Link branch offices to an enterprise network (intranet)    * Extend organizations' existing computing infrastructure to include partners, uppliers and customers (extranet)VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL (VoIP)Businesses over time have traditionally maintained separate voice and data networks. A key reason for this is that legacy network technologies could not meet the diverse performance requirements of voice and data. Recent advances in networking technology, including fast ethernet, wire-speed switching and policy-based quality of service management, have made it possible to build converged voice and data networks capable of reducing costs by eliminating redundant hardware, communications facilities and support staffs. Converged networks also enable a new generation of integrated voice/data applications.VoIP is the transmission of telephone conversations over a packet-switched IP network. This IP network could be as small as a single subnet private LAN, or as large as the public internet.DATA NETWORKWe operate a data center for running the applications that handle the core business and operational data of your organization.i/ Secure ServersA complete security policy is in place for all servers at the host level. All internal-use systems connect to the internet through a firewall. The company employs a comprehensive antivirus plan on all client and server machines as well as on all forms of electronic messaging. Periodic backup is performed on all critical servers. Authentication of users from outside the corporate network is implemented via an application level login.ii/ Large Hosting and Co-LocationCo-location is becoming popular because of the time and cost saving benefits a company realizes as result of using shared data centre infrastructure. Clients can locate their networks, server and storage gear as well as interconnect to a variety of telecommunications and other network service provider(s) with a minimum of cost and complexity. Co-located networks and networks servers dedicated to customers are also equipped with firewalls for additional customization of security.BROADCAST SERVICESSatellite transmission is a highly competitive and extremely flexible solution to both contribution and distribution video signals. Our HUB is built to satisfy your broadcast needs. We transport client video signals from point A to point B regardless of whether it is a temporary link. Our HUB also provides capacity for content uplink and video streaming, TV occasional use capacity as well as broadcast storage and redundancy.i/ Media StreamingThis service supports real-time transportation of live and/or stored data (video or audio) over the internet. Streaming media arethat are constantly received by, and normally presented to, an end-user while being delivered by a streaming provider. The term presented is used to connote a general sense that includes audio or video playback. The name refers to the delivery method of the medium rather than to the medium itself. The distinction is usually applied to media that are distributed over telecommunications networks, as most other delivery systems are either inherently streaming - radio and television) - or inherently non-streaming - books, video cassettes and audio CDs.HUB SERVICESi/IP VPN ServicesAs your organisation grows, its need for secure communications among locations also grows. We offer your business a secure connection to locations across the nation while keeping your current network protocols and ensuring privacy. Linkserve's IP VPN solutions can extend client's current IP-based network and applications cost-effectively across the country to support growing businesses.ii/Virtual NOC Operator (VNO)This is a partitioned network management system access to specific customers on a shared hub.iii/Virtual Service ProviderSimilar in concept to VNO, the VSP is at redundancy for traffic management server (RNCC) level. It adds capability to manage own hub demodulators (GCU's) and manages parameters of own inbound carriers. Each VSP can also support multiple VNOs.
